IEP volunteers often share stories with me about beautiful and meaningful expressions of appreciation from the people we serve. Patients and their families show their gratitude with simple gifts, kind words, handshakes, hugs and tears of joy. Students and parents at El Molino School spend weeks planning and practicing elaborate productions to welcome and thank our teams. And entire communities of people who survive on next to nothing come together to create beautiful displays of flowers and gifts of vegetables for those who have improved their homes with smoke-free stoves and water filters.
In the same spirit, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you — our donors and supporters — for all YOU do to carry out our mission of inspiring hope. It simply couldn’t happen without you.
